- Maven Research
- As part of the design team in Platosh Design, I helped create the logomark and identity system for this startup company in the Silicon Valley.
-

- I developed a new look for Jamilla’s Permanent Cosmetics business which included a complete identity system: logo, business cards, letterhead and envelope, as well as her website. The emphasis in this branding was to convey the professionalism, experience, and artistry that she brings to her work, which were previously not prominent in her identity materials.

- The Brand New Show
- The Brand New TV Show is a local program in the Portland, Maine area that covers, well, everything that is brand new. They are a little wacky, lots of fun, and always interesting. This logo captures their spirit with its loose letters that evoke a somewhat playful feel.

- Creative Music Lessons
- Guitar Teacher Kristian needed a logo and business cards to promote his lessons. I choose a bold blue to complement the brown, as the two work well together. The brown was chosen to reference the guitar wood, and the “electric” blue also conjures up electricity. With playful images of guitars and other musical instruments, the back of his card is playful but jam-packed with information about his unique teaching style.
Personal Projects

- jeska (re) Brand
- My senior thesis project at PNCA revolved around redesigning and rebranding a local, fledgling beauty product company’s look. This was a comprehensive branding project to include everything from the design to suggested ways to ship their product to remain “in brand”. Ultimately, this involved changing their name and their market position. With these changes they are now at a more competitive place to succeed with their business. My roles for this project included: Designer, Photography, Production, Copywriting, Naming, Branding, and Environmental/Point-of-Purchase design.

- Ruby Gin and Garnet Distillery
- The Ruby and Garnet Distillery Brand were part of a two-prong senior design project. We were asked to create a brand for the type of alcohol we were given, and it’s parent company, the distillery. This meant building the story of the brand to its current position in the marketplace. A nine page brand guide was created, which informed every aspect of the brand. The second component to the project was to build the specialty packaging to display the brand. Ruby Gin is lives in a lush hat box, along with a hip flask and cigarette holder, as the brand references the Jazz Age and Prohibition. (These days the cigarette holder would more likely to be a calling card holder, but for either purpose, is quite stylish.) A booklet that contains the Ruby and Garnet story, as well as drink recipes, is also included in this specialty packaging.
